So there is news

So it is as official as it is going to get...

We have our next roaming destination: Vienna, Austria

Kdubs just got the finalized job offer and he accepted. He will be going off and on until November/the-month-the-baby-is-due. We will all move over there after the baby is born...hopefully early to mid-January if all the paper work works out.

I don't know much about Austria, except this building seems pretty popular

And they are known for their music. Something about a boys choir and an opera?

The job will entail a LOT of travel around Europe and will last around 18-24 months. So as of right now...that is the plan. Crazy, right? We knew this might happen, but we just didn't think that it would pan out. I'm a little scared...ok, a LOT scared. And I am still processing a bunch of details and plans and to-dos.

So this is why I have been quiet for awhile. Negotiating, Processing, going back and forth.

Oh my goodness! WOW! I love, love, love Vienna. My only regret is not getting to take Hubby there. (Sigh! one day...)

Austria is "wunderbar"! You're going to have an amazing time once you get there, but some crazy months ahead. I can't wait to read all about it!

Wow! What an opportunity! I think I'd be terrified and ecstatic all wrapped into one! I hope you are able to settle into the idea while waiting for the little one....totally fun...and you might meet a Von Trapp!

Such exciting news. My husband and I spent 18 months in the Hague, Netherlands. I remember the negotiation period and it was not fun, but crazy stressful. As were the months leading up to the move (I was planning our wedding.) It definitely was a leap of faith and in the end was wonderful for us. I wish you the best. I'll be thinking of you during this transition time. Jessi

I can imagine you're a little overwhelmed with everything, but I'm sure you'll figure it all out in no time AND I'm sure your new adventure will be fabulous!

So, how's your German? Viel Glück! (Good luck!)

Love, Cita

P.S. JCPF and I are planning for a European adventure within the next couple of years - wouldn't it be fun to meet up over there?
